Eco Style in Berlin: best looks

Eco, ecooooooo …. Eco, eco, co, co, oooooh …. Sustainable fashion, whether ecological, ethical or contemplate both concepts (which is the maximum), is no longer something that everyone talks about. It has become something that many, the most fashion adicts, show off. At least, in Berlin.

Berlin Fashion Week made it clear last week. Ecology is a reality. For the more avant-garde, it is no longer enough to buy designer clothes. It’s too boring. They look for collections that, besides presenting a modern  and beautiful design, offer added value and, in this sense, the technological and the ecological take center stage.

Eco Style in Berlin Fashion Week

To prove it, our photographers Luisa Solano and Jens Wittwer went out on the street, camera and tripod on shoulder, looking for people with a sustainable look, what we call #thehonestlifestyle. As we can deduce from the looks they shot, decorative patterns meet sporty minimalism, voluminous silhouettes meet narrow cuts and smoky tones meet vibrant colours.

We really like it! It’s all about consciously breaking up the styles. For example, glamour and casual are entering into an exciting interplay. It is the new fashionable eclecticism. It is taking things beyond the tried-and-tested into unknown territory, which is taking things further. Want to see how?
