Why to buy: FANFARE Label is an independent, female-founded fashion house that creates sustainable and circular fashion pieces. The high waisted ‘leaf’ jean is part of Fanfare Label’s recycled denim collection, manufactured in Portugal in a certified ethical factory and made using post-consumer recycled cotton and organic cotton.
The Fanfare Label jeans are fully transparent – from sourcing the fabrics, through to the production. On the other hand, all jeans are made from 69% Organic Cotton, 20% Post-Consumer Recycled Denim, 9% Recycled Bottles and 2% Recycled Polyester.
What we love: The FANFARE jeans are GOTS Certified, GRS Certified, OCS Certified and OEKO-TEX Certified. To make the jeans fully recyclable, the brand removed all rivets from their jeans and replaced them with embroidery instead and reduced the number of labels attached to the jeans by printing them on the inside pockets. They have also used recycled materials instead of virgin materials and made sure that the alternative buttons and zippers are easily removable and can be reused. Lastly, by using laser technology to change the colour of the jeans, Fanfare Label products save 92% more water than conventional denim fabrics.

To protect oneself from this, one has to create a balance with the elements of nature – this is the belief in the traditional textile art.
