Plastikophobia ist eine beeindruckende Kunstinstallation aus 18.000 Plastikbechern, die in lokalen Lebensmittelcentern in ganz Singapur gesammelt wurden, um das Bewusstsein f\u00fcr die Plastikverschmutzung durch einmaligen Gebrauch zu sch\u00e4rfen. Die K\u00fcnstler von Wong und Joshua Goh haben sich in zehn Tagen mit der Social-Impact-Strategin Laura Francois und fast hundert Freiwilligen zusammengetan, um dieses Projekt zu verwirklichen.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n \n\n

Nur weil etwas in einen Papierkorb gelegt wird, bedeutet dies nicht, dass es recycelt wird. 91% des Kunststoffs werden nicht recycelt! Die beste L\u00f6sung ist, wenn m\u00f6glich, plastikophobisch zu werden – oder wenn m\u00f6glich auf die Verwendung von Kunststoffen zu verzichten.<\/p>\n

Artist Von Wong wurde von der High Comission of Canada eingeladen, eine Ausstellung in der Sustainable Singapore Gallery (SSG) zu moderieren. Im Gespr\u00e4ch mit seiner Freundin Laura Francois kamen sie auf die Idee, eine brandneue Installation zu erstellen. Im Rahmen ihrer Nachhaltigkeitsinitiativen bot CDL freundlicherweise an, als Sponsor einzutreten. Die Nationale Umweltbeh\u00f6rde (NEA) von Singapur erfuhr von ihren Bem\u00fchungen und half, die Sammlung von Kunststoffen f\u00fcr den einmaligen Gebrauch im ganzen Land zu koordinieren und zu erleichtern.<\/p>\n

Mit all dieser Unterst\u00fctzung schufen sie einen immersiven Raum, um das Gef\u00fchl von Plastikophobia zu verbreiten. Vielleicht ist es das gleiche Gef\u00fchl, das Fische und V\u00f6gel gerade erleben.<\/p>\n
