Chant\u00e9 (18) ist die kraftvolle junge Frau, der wir in dieser Modegeschichte folgen. Angeleitet von einem Team professioneller Enthusiasten f\u00fcr nachhaltige Mode, welches sich f\u00fcr s\u00fcdafrikanische Jugendliche stark macht. Unterst\u00fctzt wird das Team von Modelabels aus Kapstadt und Hamburg, die sich aus \u00dcberzeugung an der Initiative beteiligen.<\/p>\n

Chant\u00e9, die in unterprivilegierten Verh\u00e4ltnissen aufwuchs, wird hier zum Model eines internationalen Modemagazins. Dabei findet sie ihre verborgene St\u00e4rke und erlangt Zuversicht. Sie wurde in einem kleinen s\u00fcdafrikanischen Dorf nahe der Stadt Grabouw geboren. Im Alter von 16 Jahren verlie\u00df sie die Schule, als sie mit ihrer Tochter Stephanie schwanger war. Zusammen mit ihrer Tochter, Geschwistern und ihrer eigenen Mutter lebt sie in \u00e4rmlichen Verh\u00e4ltnissen ohne angemessene Wasser- und Stromversorgung.<\/p>\n

Chant\u00e9s Wunsch, ihre Lebensbedingungen zu verbessern, ist mindestens ebenso gro\u00df wie ihr Gef\u00fchl von Machtlosigkeit. W\u00e4hrend des Fotoshootings ist sie motiviert und fokussiert. Es gelingt ihr, sich auf ihre innere Kraft und ihre Hoffnung zu konzentrieren. Dabei f\u00fchlt sie sich einzigartig und voller Selbstvertrauen. Durch Chant\u00e9s Erfahrung am Set f\u00fchlt sich das Team sehr inspiriert und best\u00e4rkt, ihre Projekte f\u00fcr Jugendliche fortzusetzen.<\/p>\n
