Nevold, ein von Chanel gegr\u00fcndetes, aber unabh\u00e4ngiges Unternehmen, wird von Sophie Brocart geleitet \u2013 ehemalige CEO der Luxusmarke Patou \u2013 die im Januar zu Chanel wechselte. Ziel von Chanel ist es, mit dieser Firma den Einsatz zirkul\u00e4rer Textilien sowohl f\u00fcr die eigenen Kollektionen als auch f\u00fcr Dritte zu skalieren.<\/p>\n

Der Aufbau von Nevold wurde laut US-Medien WWD durch eine Anfangsinvestition von 50 bis 80 Millionen Euro unterst\u00fctzt. F\u00fcr dieses Projekt greift Nevold auf bestehende Schl\u00fcsselbeteiligungen von Chanel zur\u00fcck: L\u2019Atelier des Mati\u00e8res<\/a>, das interne Recyclinglabor von Chanel, das Luxusabf\u00e4lle in wiederverwendbare Materialien umwandelt, die familiengef\u00fchrte Spinnerei Filatures du Parc<\/a> sowie den franz\u00f6sischen Spezialisten f\u00fcr Lederrecycling Authentic Material<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dieses Unternehmen ist ein zentraler Schritt, um dem Mangel an hochwertigen, r\u00fcckverfolgbaren Fasern zu begegnen, dem Abfallproblem der Modeindustrie<\/a> entgegenzuwirken und Luxus-Textilabf\u00e4lle sinnvoll zu verwerten. Bemerkenswert ist auch das Ziel, die Kreislaufmode voranzutreiben und neue Materialien zu entwickeln<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nevold ist somit die Einheit, die geschaffen wurde, um zur dritten industriellen S\u00e4ule von Chanel zu werden. Mit ihr will Chanel sein Ziel erreichen, recycelte Materialien im industriellen Ma\u00dfstab zu entwickeln.<\/p>\n

Neben dem B2B-Modell (Business-to-Business) steht Nevold auch anderen Marken offen \u2013 nicht nur Chanel. Tats\u00e4chlich wurde bereits eine Zusammenarbeit mit der franz\u00f6sischen Sporthandelskette Decathlon gestartet. Dar\u00fcber hinaus bringt Nevold zwei spannende Innovationen auf den Modemarkt: ein Garn aus einer Mischung von neuen und recycelten Fasern sowie ein recyceltes Leder, das bereits in 30\u202f% der Chanel-Taschen und 50\u202f% der Chanel-Schuhe verarbeitet wird.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n \n\n
