El anuncio se produce d\u00edas despu\u00e9s de que Alexander McQueen y Vestiaire Collective<\/a> anunciaran otra colaboraci\u00f3n que introduce a\u00fan m\u00e1s marcas de lujo en el panorama de la venta minorista de segunda mano.<\/p>\n

Con esta inversi\u00f3n, Kering se dirige a un nuevo p\u00fablico: gente joven y m\u00e1s concienciada con el medio ambiente; adem\u00e1s de ofrecer un servicio adicional a sus actuales clientes.<\/p>\n

El anuncio se produce despu\u00e9s de un a\u00f1o fuerte para Vestiaire Collective, en el que el volumen de transacciones creci\u00f3 m\u00e1s de un 100% interanual; y seg\u00fan la empresa les da una base s\u00f3lida para continuar su ciclo acelerado de crecimiento.<\/p>\n

El sector de la moda de segunda mano ha experimentado un inmenso crecimiento en los \u00faltimos dos a\u00f1os, que no ha hecho m\u00e1s que aumentar durante la pandemia de la Covid-19. Esto se ha debido principalmente a los consumidores m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes que se dejan llevar por un impulso m\u00e1s sostenible y consciente. Seg\u00fan el Informe de Reventa 2020 Resale Report<\/a>, se espera que la reventa sea mayor que la moda r\u00e1pida en 2029.<\/p>\n

La empresa de inversi\u00f3n estadounidense Tiger Global Management tambi\u00e9n ha invertido en la plataforma, mientras que los inversores existentes, como la editora de Vogue, Conde Nast, han puesto m\u00e1s dinero en ella.<\/p>\n
