FERRARI

It’s 2021 when the legendary automaker, Ferrari, renowned for its high-powered sports cars adorned with the Prancing Horse logo, decides to launch the eponymous unisex  Ready-To-Wear line. The creative director and former designer of Armani and D&G, Rocco Iannone translates the Ferrari spirit of Italiannes in architectural lines, paying attention to craftsmanship and of course to fabrics. The fashion brand has now a new voice and this time it does not scream at the latest car models. The Fall Winter 2022 collection reaffirms the brand’s commitment to the use of materials that respect the sustainable fashion laws. Noble and natural fabrics such as wool, cashmere, cotton drill, silk, and leather, are used in the collection but in a different way. The fibers are trasnformed after technological treatments: leather is thermoformed, cotton drill is enriched with a waterproof technical fiber, and brass is galvanized, nylon becomes reflective. “We think Ferrari - with its mastery of speed, craft, machine, and performance - can express its values in a full lifestyle vision” says the designer Iannone.
