Responsible travel for travellers with a social conscience
It is a four-day luxury bushwalk and camping adventure. It connects us to the raw beauty and deep history of the Australian landscape as we hike through the private wildlife conservancy that makes up the Arkaba bush region. If we book it, we will traverse the ancient Flinders Ranges National Park and tap into the 600 million-year-old geography of Elder’s Range and Wilpena Pound.
Also, the organizators want that we learn about the land and the people who have called it home from experienced and passionate local guides. We will soak up sweeping mountain views, enjoy home style ranch living, sleep under the full sky of the Southern Hemisphere and tuck into delicious homemade Australian food and wines.
Also, we will camp out in traditional outback style in spectacular and remote locations that let us get up close and personal with the native wilderness.
Donations for a positive impact in Australia
This trip cost $2600. Talking now about our positive impact, the organizers says: The donation component of this trip ($200 per person) goes towards the environmental conservation efforts of the AWC and supports their mission to implement programs and establish sanctuaries that protect threatened wildlife and ecosystems in Australia.
