Imitation of Christ, the pioneering up-cycling brand, relaunched this year during the pandemic in align with its 20-year anniversary. IOC was founded back in 2000 when Tara Subcoff, Matt Damhave and Chloë Sevigny came together with their strong views on mass consumerism and disposable clothing to create this art collective stroke fashion brand. As leaders of the up-cycling movement, IOC continued using discarded or unwanted textiles to make up their most recent collection with each piece, of course, being one of a kind.
