Trabants in gray, modernists in a colorful World, Black Ink for those who want to see all painted, bright light for people who love harmony, soft toned…With all-over blue looks, Azure was a reference to the topic of water and fashion, the key theme of this year’s Neonyt. Yes, Claudia Hofmann, fashion director and co-founder of the Fashion Council Germany, made a fantastic job. It is not easy to mix brands and coordinate outfits in such an inspirational way. This “state-of-the-art” sustainable fashion show showed perfectly the neo-newfashion World.
The looks were compiled from the new collections by established fair fashion brands like Ecoalf, Lanius and Philomena Zanetti in a progressive mix with high fashion by Berlin designer Vladimir Karaleev x After March and denim upcycling brand Fade Out. The outfits were rounded off with shoes by labels including Trippen and Velt, accessories by Spatz Hutdesign and Norwegian Rain, as well as shiny tights by Swedish Stockings and Wolford. Also featured in the show: sustainable fashion labels Buki Akomolafe, Hellmuth, Natascha von Hirschhausen, Sepideh Ahadi and Working Title, five of the ten finalists in the mentoring programme by the Fashion Council Germany for aspiring young designers, which is taking place in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt.
