Luxiders Magazine Print Issue 9 | The Illusion

Luxiders Magazine Print Issue 9 is all about craftsmanship. Discover the beauty of the real luxury. The spirit of transformation experienced during our trip to Peru; the unexpected new designs; Eva Jospin’s cardboard forests; Keith Petersen’s vibrant photography; Julia Ibbini’s ancient patterns;  and all fashion stories made by real people.

Illusions may or may not come true, but they have the power to light the way to a place, time, or state in which we think we can feel better.

Illusions are nothing more than the hope, with or without a real basis, that something pursued will happen and whose attainment seems particularly attractive. Illusions may or may not come true, but they have the power to light the way to a place, time, or state in which we think we can feel better.

Humanity moves and evolves through illusions.

This year, all evolution seems to be led by the illusory opportunities offered by Artificial Intelligence. Creating an exceptional photograph in minutes through a short and concise text certainly opens a door to a modern future. Images and texts created by Artificial Intelligence represent the infinity of the moment. However, we are also facing a wave of uncertainty. While an image was once the irrefutable proof that something really existed and an article published in the media proved “true” after being meditated and corroborated, now that everything can be created from what robots select from established information published on Internet –without knowing whether it is fake or not–, we are facing an age of confusion, with a monumental propagation of unreal images and fake news, which will become a furtive radiance.

Look at the image on our front page! It does not understand algorithms. It has been created by a group of people who, during several months, searched for inspiration and shared their different points of view before looking for the model and the fashion that best represents the message. The vibrations fill our eyes.

Far from the fake society that is creeping into our social networks these days, it represents the beauty of human creations, of teamwork, thoughts dancing in unison. So are all the contents of this issue: Eva Jospin’s cardboard forests; Keith Petersen’s vibrant photography; Julia Ibbini’s ancient patterns; the spirit of transformation experienced during our trip to Peru; the unexpected products in our Design Section; and all fashion stories made by real people. Made with time. With love.

As editors, it is now more important than ever for us to stand up for humanity’s most important asset: craftsmanship as the only element of real luxury, with real artists at the center of creation.

Welcome to Luxiders Magazine Issue 9
The real modernity.
