Néocène: The Visionary Spring-Summer 2026 Journey By Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris
Placed firmly on the map as one of the most influential sourcing hubs in the global fashion industry, the return of the Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris shows to Halls 2, 3 and 4 of the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Centre is accompanied by an exciting new space organisation to make the buying experience even more efficient and inspiring. But there are some more changes. Get to know them.
As we already anticipated in our previous chronicle about Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris, the organizers have decided to relocate the spaces in order to create more synergies. At the heart of hall 2, the Trends Forum will captivate visitor with its four dynamic themes, and will also house all key services, including the Agora for engaging conferences and lively round-table discussions, as well as inviting restaurants. In terms of products and services, some Texworld and Apparel Sourcing sectors have been brought together to promote synergies, with coherent areas devoted to women’s clothing (Hall 4) and outdoor-sportswear-casualwear (Hall 3). This layout not only makes the Apparel Sourcing offering easier to navigate but also optimises the entire sourcing process, providing a more streamlined and productive experience.
Néocène: A Visionary Spring-Summer 2026 Journey
The Spring-Summer 2026 trend book titled Néocène is about to make waves at the Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris trade fair, taking place from February 10 to 12 at the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Centre. Curated by the ever-insightful artistic directors, Louis Gérin and Grégory Lamaud, this captivating foray into future style worlds redefines our sense of creativity in the midst of social, economic, and environmental upheavals.
At a time of global tension and transformational change, this vision Néocène for SS26 invites designers to reconnect with the raw essence of creation. Whether you’re drawn to the fluid realms of Quantum or the delicate optimism of Magnetism, each theme provides a springboard for unique storytelling and commercial success.
Néocène, a term evoking an era “without humans,” channels an unpredictable horizon where physics rules supreme. In this newly imagined universe, four central themes —Quantum, Gravity, Relativity, and Magnetism— shape an inspirational framework for designers and buyers alike. Each theme offers its own color palette of three “star” shades and six sublime intermediates, unveiling fresh moods for Spring-Summer 2026. Expect fluid textures, tactile patterns, and surprising tones designed to spark creative brilliance.
Quantum
In this first universe, energy and chance reign, pushing the boundaries of form. Think molten silhouettes, fluid lines, and sun-kissed palettes that hint at the play of solid vs. liquid. Reminiscent of spicy flavors and caramel hues, the Quantum world brings warmth, lightness, and an appealing sense of incandescence.
Gravity
Gravity, in every sense of the word, takes center stage with sand-infused materials and repetitive geometric patterns that radiate both emotional depth and physical weight. Imagine soft, mineral-like textures, subtle neutrals, and serious yet natural tones. This theme channels a sophisticated calm perfect for refined, introspective collections.
Relativity
Playing with contrasts and oxymorons, Relativity moves deeper into the tension of previous narratives. “Ugly becomes beautiful,” while stillness accelerates. We see motifs drawn from mummified vegetation, delicate embroidery that hints at a lost past, and ash-tinged colorways with moody blues and purples. The effect is hauntingly beautiful: a melancholic poem in textile form.
Magnetism
For the grand finale, Magnetism ushers in an era of renewal and order. Let the floral motifs, ample lines, and ethereal transparencies spark your creativity. Here, soft pastels—think peach, blush pink, and marshmallow nuances—float effortlessly, bringing hope and subtle romance to the SS26 palette.
