Since 2017, the nonprofit Hands on Peru has been working closely with women from Huanchaquito, Peru, equipping them with tools that foster both professional & personal development. The Chimuk workshop is a beautiful public health center where creativity meets community. A team of 20 artisans has access to mental & physical health services, as well as skills-based learning. In the past four years, the 20 participating women of CHIMUK have transformed into talented artisans and have thus revolutionized their lives, earning dignified wages, learning new skills, and building community.
