Ecocapsule offers up to two people the possibility for an off-grid living -real eco-life. It does not need to be plugged into the traditional power and water supply as it is self-sustaining and can generate both resources from the surrounding environment.
The egg-shaped Ecocapsule combines all the luxuries you would expect from a mobile home. A folding bed, workspace that doubles as a dining area, suite bathroom, kitchenette, storage,
running water (built in filters make safe for human consumption) and hot food – all you need.
In total you are able to run an independent eco-live stretched over eight square meters with a pods dimension of 2.55 metres high, 4.45 metres long and 2.25 metres wide. For any displacement the Ecocapsule has four small wheels (extendable from legs), so you can roll or rotate it on smooth surfaces. It is prepared for trailer attachment and a customized trailer which can be easily and simply attached.
At the end just the sky is the limit. Put the Ecocapsule wherever you want: woodland, seashore, hillside, mountain or even at urban environment. But the egg-shaped object could be more than just housing – a starting point to answer signifiant current existing problems such as gentrification or displacement and much more.
Ecocapsule is equipped with everything needed limits its impact on the environment just to its footprint.
At first Ecocapsule was intended as a frontier dwelling. A housing unit for people who need to stay in nature for a longer time – e.g. scientists, photographers, rangers or extreme tourists. Easy mobility, containerization and long term energy independence has opened up new ways to utilize the potential of the Ecocapsule.
The first generation is priced at 79,900 euros excluding VAT. The first 50 units will be delivered before the end of Q3 2018. More information and lower prices of the second generation mass production will be announced in 2018. Bon voyage and unforgettable moments!
