STYLE MEETS SUSTAINABILITY 

Since its creation in 2007, this bi-annual event has celebrated Berlin’s iconic style. Berlin Fashion Week leads the way in sustainability, inclusion, innovation and talent promotion. It attracts an international, world-renowned audience, offering designers a platform defined by individuality, creativity and diversity. Emerging sustainable talent shines, supported for their innovation and craftsmanship. Berlin Fashion Week solidifies the city’s reputation as a powerhouse for talent and sustainability.

 

For the first time, Berlin Fashion Week is partnering with Copenhagen Fashion Week to adopt its sustainability framework, promising a responsible fashion platform. The focus is on traceability and transparency throughout the supply chain. This partnership will leverage expertise and resources, encouraging brands to meet the evolving needs of our society, whilst promoting innovative sustainability solutions.

DISCOVER THE DETAILS: SHOWROOMS

Fashion week is about more than just runway shows. The stories behind collections and the inspiration of the designers are also celebrated. Alongside the SEEK trade fair, press and sales showrooms will be set up across Berlin. These give attendees the opportunity to feel the clothes and create a space for personal exchange between industry expats. Some highlights include the Berlin Contemporary Showroom the Reference Forum: New Wave and the Melagence Showroom. 

The Fashion Council Germany hosts the Berlin Contemporary Showroom at the Chateau Royal Hotel. It offers an intimate setting for the press, buyers, and fashion professionals to view the latest collections from top Berlin designers.  Reference Studios Showroom will host the Reference Forum: New Wave, showcasing promising German design talents.  The Melagence Showroom will present a diverse portfolio of international designers and contemporary brands. This showroom is open to buyers and press from 1 to 5 July.

MILK OF LIME | SS25 RUNWAY SHOW ‘CURRENT’

Milk of Lime returns to Berlin Fashion Week with their new SS25 collection, ‘CURRENT’. Connecting refined elegance with honest earthiness, this collection strives to bring sartorial poetry into people’s closets. Situated in the round walls of the Silent Garden the Belgo-German designer duo Milk of Lime is not to be missed. 

 

PLNGS (PALINGENESY) | SNEAKER RIOT
LOBE BLOCK
1 PM 

Designer Mitya Hontarenko showcases how recycling shoes and clothing can create something new and unique. Old sneakers and used clothes are transformed into shoes, jackets and pants, blending sustainability with contemporary fashion. These are works of art that you can wear. Attending Sneaker Riot will expose you to innovative designs you didn’t know were possible. 

 

2 July 2024

AVENIR | COMMUTE SS25 COLLECTION
VARIAN-FRY STR. 1

Avenir’s visionary Sophie Claussen delivers a seamless blend of style, eco-consciousness and functionality. COMMUTE SS25 promises to redefine alternative communing attire, debuting at Potsdamer Platz. All of Avenir’s collections focus on upcycled, sustainable fashion, with sustainability at the core. 

 

3 July 2024

DZHUS | SS25 PERFORMANCE
THE KABBALAH CENTRE
11 AM 

The Ukrainian conceptual brand DZHUS is known for its multi-purpose outfits made from cruelty-free materials. Designer Irina Dzhus has always been vegetarian-friendly and uses only ethical materials. Expect designs with a unisex aesthetic and a sustainable style. 

 

COTONEA X REBEKKA RUÉTZ | BLACK SUN
UBER EATS MUSIC HALL
MIDDAY

Rebekka Ruétz collaborates with Cotonea for a stunning new collection featuring high-quality Popelin fabric, made from the finest organic Pima cotton. This collection is noted for its breathability and skin-friendly qualities. Transparency and genuinity shine through this collection and it is not to be missed. 

 

COLLECTIVEFOUR: A UNITED FASHION EVENT
UBER EATS MUSIC HALL
2 PM

Rebekka Ruétz, Danny Reinke, Marcel Ostertag, and Kilian Kerner present their work in this Collective Four event, ending the evening with an after party. This event supports charitable causes and showcases the strength of collective creativity. Tickets are available to the public, with proceeds supporting Tierheim Berlin and Children for Tomorrow. 

 

4 July 2024

TREY SS25 MODERN RENAISSANCE COLLECTION

Experience TREY’s luxury lingerie in a unique fusion of fashion and art. The SS25 collection draws inspiration from the Renaissance, featuring sleek silhouettes with intricate embellishments. The event features a performance by the Royal Ballet of Cambodia, celebrating cultural heritage and artistic traditions. This promises to be a captivating evening.

 

PEOPLE | EDITION 6 ‘LESS’

LOCATION – NELLA BELJAN GALLERY

4-9 PM 

People is a social fashion concept, with young designers between 13 and 27 creating accessories, ceramics, and design objects as well as clothing. 100% of the profits are given back to charities supporting social initiatives and human rights. 

The new collection ‘Less’ responds to excessive rules and norms. The feeling of restriction and pressure to fit in inspire this creation’s emphasis on the act of letting go. Sustainability is at the forefront of this edition, with zero-waste designs and principles incorporated throughout. These include plant dyes, and reworked vintage and deadstock materials, all handmade here in Berlin.

 

MARCEL OSTERTAG | SHOP THE RUNWAY & SAMPLE SALE

Marcel Ostertag invites you to shop the latest runway looks directly from the store. Enjoy a glass of champagne while exploring new designs and sample sale pieces. This event offers an exclusive shopping experience with the designer himself.

 

MAJÈRE | UNZUCHT |
HOTEL ORDERBERGER
6 PM

The Berlin-based slow fashion brand Majere is driven by textures, contrasts, and emotion. Inspired by Bosch’s “Garden of Earthly Delights,” their collection explores the themes of creation, disillusionment, and seduction while challenging religious beliefs and societal norms.

FAEX | SHOWROOM AND POP-UP STORE
HECKMAN HÖFE
1st – 4th 11 AM- 9 PM, 5th 11 AM – 7 PM

The FAEX slow fashion store provides five days of visibility for independent fashion brands at Berlin Fashion Week. For these five days, trade visitors and the public get to explore 20 collections from fashion designers dedicated to sustainable production. Visitors can expect curated designs and the opportunity to meet the designers personally. On Local Day (July 4th), FAEX hosts a green catwalk at 6 pm. The Green Catwalk highlights local designers and retailers, offering a platform for innovative and eco-friendly fashion.  FAEX pop-up stores will also be open at Berlin Art Week and Freiburg Fashion and Food Festival.

PANDORA GOES FASHION WEEK | ART FASHION SHOW AND POP-UP STORE
PANDORA

6 PM 

Pandora returns to Berlin Fashion Week with a series of performances and shows. On July 4th, the gallery gave Therapy Recycle and Exorcise, Tata Christiane, and Fade Out Label the space for their unique performances. This will be an art fashion show filled with unique creations and DJ sets. There will also be a pop-up store open 1-5 July where you can see up close the distinct sustainable fashion of each brand, with collections that repurpose and reimagine discarded materials.

 

2-3 July 2024

SEEK | THE JUNCTION
STATION LUCKENWALDER STR

Seek is a platform bringing together sustainable fashion brands and companies. Through collaborations and events, Seek support for meaningful change in the fashion industry. During these two days, END, Breuninger, and Trüffelschwein will feature brands like ADSUM, EDWIN, VEJA, and more. Shops like ABOUT YOU, ASOS, and ZALANDO will also participate, creating a vibrant marketplace for industry leaders and enthusiasts. Sustainability will take the spotlight helping move the industry towards a greener future.
