LEMAIRE

-- --

Lemaire brand,  led by Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran, offers a timeless Parisian style that is cosmopolitan, crafted from fabrics selected for their quality and designed for everyday wear. The wardrobe is eminently modular—the supple silhouettes and soft color palette allow Lemaire outfits to be restyled and accented over time. A team of 40 artisans creates the collections from sketches to the final product in rue de Poitou 28. The fabrics are carefully selected from Europe and Japan, handpicked for their authenticity, durability and originality, while only 10% of the products are made in Turkey and Morocco. Through traditional techniques passed down from generation to generation, vegetable leather accessories and shoes are made in Italy and Spain. The two designers take the distance from capitalist systems of materialism, preferring craftsmanship and sartorial tradition. The brand, for example, uses the original prints derived from marbled paper and watercolor from 2015 for their clothes, inspired by Japanese art.
