Texworld Paris 2026 Brings Together 1,000 Exhibitors as Avantex Accelerates the Future of Sustainable Fashion
From biomaterials and artificial intelligence to circular manufacturing and traceable sourcing, Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris returns from August 31 to September 2 reflecting how the global textile industry is rapidly redefining the future of fashion.
More than 1,000 exhibitors from around the world will gather at Paris Le Bourget, where Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris and Avantex collectively showcase the technologies, materials and manufacturing solutions shaping the next generation of the fashion industry.
As global fashion continues to navigate geopolitical uncertainty, changing supply chains and increasing environmental regulation, Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris 2026 returns with a more focused proposition. Rather than offering buyers an overwhelming number of suppliers, this edition prioritises carefully selected manufacturers capable of delivering quality, flexibility, innovation and competitive production across the textile value chain.
The event will welcome more than 1,000 international exhibitors, bringing together textile manufacturers, apparel producers, technology companies and material innovators from leading sourcing countries including China, Türkiye, India, Korea, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Armenia, Uzbekistan and many others.
“In a context of industrial consolidation and increasingly streamlined supply chains, buyers are no longer looking for the widest possible offer. Instead, they are seeking carefully selected, reliable partners able to deliver quality, flexibility and competitive pricing,” says Julien Schmoll, Marketing and Communications Director at Messe Frankfurt France.

A Global Textile Industry in Transformation
Texworld continues to strengthen its position as one of Europe’s leading sourcing platforms for fabrics and raw materials, while Apparel Sourcing Paris expands its offer of finished garments and fashion accessories. New initiatives dedicated to near sourcing, technical textiles, outdoor performance and premium craftsmanship demonstrate how sourcing strategies are becoming increasingly diversified and resilient.
Among this year’s highlights are new exhibitors specialising in premium linen manufacturing, advanced textile engineering and certified responsible production, alongside demonstrations celebrating both industrial innovation and traditional textile expertise.
The future of sourcing is no longer defined solely by cost. Increasingly, buyers are looking for innovation, transparency, material performance and measurable environmental responsibility.

Avantex Places Innovation at the Centre of Fashion’s Next Chapter
Positioned at the heart of the exhibition, Avantex once again becomes the innovation hub of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris. Around thirty exhibitors will present solutions spanning artificial intelligence, traceability, circular manufacturing, responsible materials, industrial optimisation and emerging business models that respond to the industry’s accelerating transformation. The programme also includes Texpertise Focus AI x SPOTT, an educational platform exploring how artificial intelligence is already improving textile inspection, production efficiency, supply chain transparency and sustainable decision making across fashion manufacturing.
Throughout the three-day event, conferences, workshops and networking sessions will address subjects including regenerative textile economies, durability, circular design, AI applications, textile expertise and future regulatory challenges facing the global industry.
Biomaterials Take Centre Stage
One of the strongest signals emerging from this edition is the growing visibility of biomaterials, which continue to move from experimental research into commercially relevant fashion solutions. Within Avantex, 001.AGENCY has curated two pioneering exhibitors whose work illustrates the diversity and maturity of today’s biomaterial landscape.
Artist and designer Alice Potts presents her exploration of biomaterials developed from living systems, challenging conventional relationships between biology, design and material innovation. Citation Needed explores new approaches to biomaterial development, demonstrating how experimental material research can contribute to future fashion applications. Together, these two exhibitors illustrate how biomaterials are evolving beyond conceptual experimentation to become practical solutions capable of reshaping fashion’s material future.
On the other hand, 001.AGENCY also brings Tim van der Loo, a dutch designer showcasing circular material innovations created from discarded denim, transforming textile waste into new resources while demonstrating the commercial potential of circular manufacturing.
Selected by 001.AGENCY, these three exhibitors demonstrate how biomaterials and circular material innovation are rapidly becoming part of fashion’s industrial reality rather than its distant future.

Supporting the Next Generation of Fashion Innovation
Innovation also remains at the heart of the Avantex Fashion Pitch, where international start ups will present breakthrough technologies before an expert jury that includes investors, fashion specialists, innovation leaders and Belvis Soler, Co Founder and Art Director of Luxiders Magazine. The winning company will receive industry support including a dedicated stand at Avantex, access to an international fashion incubator and editorial visibility through Luxiders Magazine.
Looking Beyond the Product
As sustainability expectations continue to evolve, Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris demonstrates that the conversation is no longer limited to sourcing products. Increasingly, the industry’s attention is shifting towards sourcing knowledge, technology, material science and measurable innovation.
From artificial intelligence and biomaterials to circular manufacturing and regenerative thinking, Paris once again becomes the meeting point where the future of textiles is not only discussed but actively developed.
