Sustainable Future for Chloé with New Creative Director Gabriela Hearst

After 4 years at Parisian brand Chloé, Natacha Ramsay-Levi exits and Gabriela Hearst joins as new Creative Director.

Celebrating a 5-year history of her namesake label, Hearst is going to continue directing her beloved brand alongside Chloé. Gabriela Hearst is, of course, known for her detailed and considered luxury designs that never compromise the environment and are always made to last; she will bring her inspiring ethics to Chloé. “Together, we share the conviction that we all have a responsibility to actively participate in the shaping of a sustainable future and look forward to jointly pushing Chloé to new heights” said CEO, Riccardo Bellini.”

Born in Uruguay, Gabriella Hearst is the first non-European to hold this position at Chloé. It is an exciting time to have someone so environmentally conscious and empowering through sustainability at such a renowned, luxury fashion brand. Her recent spring/summer 2020 collection was the first ever carbon-neutral fashion show. “Her powerful vision of more responsible fashion truly embodies the values and sense of commitment of today's Chloé women” says Bellini. This new appointment at Chloé could be the start of a sustainable breakthrough in the luxury fashion industry.
