Pitti Immagine Uomo 105 is being held at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence for another edition. If the last edition of the event, very focused on the conscious man, was a resounding success, this edition looks very attractive for fashion buyers looking for collections with personality.

DESIGNER SHOWCASE: TODD SNYDER

Launching his label in 2011, Todd Snyder has become “one of the most influential” menswear designers from America. For this edition’s Designer Showcase, Todd Snyder will be presenting his new collection at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence. Whilst comfortably rooted as an American designer, Todd draws inspiration from Italian style in his designs, making him a perfect exhibitor in Florence. Throughout his career, according to Pitti Immagine CEO Raffeallo Napoleone, Todd Snyder has showcased “modern elegance welded into the values of sustainability”.

Todd Synder’s Design Showcase will be exhibited on the 9th January 2024, the opening day.

SPECIAL PROJECT: NEUDEUTSCH

Julian Daynov, a renowned trend scout and consultant, has curated a special design showcase. The project, named “NEUDEUTSCH”, will feature work from around 20 German-based creatives, celebrating New Wave German Design at Pitti Immagine Uomo 105. The concept of NEUDEUTSCH refers to the constant transformation, enrichment and further development of the German language. This showcase takes it further as a “symbolic narrative of the constantly evolving German design aesthetics.” Shaking of the stereotype of German design being purely functional, it’s bringing together a mix of emerging and established names: ACCEPTANCE LETTER STUDIO, AVENIR, BUDDE, EQUALITY PERFUMES, FRNKOW, HADERLUMP, HERNÁN, INTERNATIONAL CITIZEN, J’AI MAL À LA TÊTE, MARKE, MUTI, NOAM, NEW TENDENCY, OBS, OFTT, SARAH ILLENBERGER, SEBASTIAN HERKNER.

GUEST DESIGNER: S.S. DALEY

Steven Stokey-Daley will be a guest designer at Pitti Immagine Uomo 105, bringing his new “Made In Britain” collection to Florence. Liverpool-raised, the internationally-recognised designer will be putting on a catwalk show with his S.S Daley brand. Steven is a young designer who aims to “dismantle typical ideas of British Heritage” and creates performances exploring themes of sexuality, race and class. As well as dressing celebrities like Harry Styles, in 2022 S.S Daley was awarded with the LVMH Prize for Young Designers.

GUEST DESIGNER: LUCA MAGLIANO

Another guest of Pitti Immagine Uomo 105, Luca Magliano is staging a special event in an unrevealed location. Luca designs for his namesake Magliano brand and celebrates his birthplace Bologna as “a paradigm of both ethics and aesthetics”, highlighting class struggle and Italian libertarian movements. Often exploring genderless codes within menswear, Magliano’s designs are “nurtured by the concept of the ‘provincia’”, translating to “province”. Luca Magliano’s designs have been widely celebrated and was awarded with the LVMH Karl Lagerfeld Prize in 2023.

Pitti Immagine Uomo 105 will be held at Fortezza da Basso in Florence from the 9th – 12th January 2024. For more information, click here.
