15 Fashion Brands Redefining Style and Impact | Discovered at MOMAD Madrid
From regenerative cotton and European flax to heritage craftsmanship and circular design, these are the brands that stood out at MOMAD Madrid 2026 for proving that fashion can create value far beyond aesthetics. Showcased within The Conscious Boutique (La Boutique Consciente), they represent a new generation of brands changing the narrative of fashion. Today, the real question is no longer what we buy, but what impact our choices create.
Fashion trade shows have long been the places where buyers discover next season’s trends. Increasingly, however, they have also become where the industry’s most meaningful ideas emerge. Beyond silhouettes and colour palettes, today’s most compelling collections reveal new ways of producing, sourcing and designing fashion with greater responsibility.
The latest edition of MOMAD Madrid confirmed this shift. Bringing together more than 200 brands, 60% of them Spanish, alongside international buyers from Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia, the fair reinforced its position as one of Spain’s leading professional fashion events and showcased a growing appetite for innovation, craftsmanship and conscious production.
Rather than selecting brands simply for their aesthetic appeal, we looked for those making tangible contributions to the future of fashion through lower impact materials, regenerative agriculture, local manufacturing, artisanal expertise, circular design and supply chain transparency.
From European-grown flax and naturally dyed regenerative denim to recycled leather accessories, renewable energy powered production and heritage textiles preserved across generations, these are the fifteen brands that impressed us most at MOMAD Madrid 2026 and deserve a place on every fashion insider’s radar.

15 brands making a good impact
DANIEL CHONG
Designed in Madrid and responsibly produced in Portugal, Daniel Chong’s contemporary look reflects a new generation of Spanish design where creativity and circularity evolve together. Crafted from 100% organic cotton, it is complemented by the Book Holder Mini backpack, produced entirely in Spain using recycled PET bottles, recycled cotton and vegetable tanned leather. The result is a collection that proves functionality, modern aesthetics and responsible sourcing can coexist effortlessly.
AÑINO REGINA MERINA
In a season dominated by innovation, Añino Regina Merina reminds us that true luxury often begins with respecting what already exists. The shirt is crafted from native Spanish Merino wool, presented in its natural undyed shade and finished with plant based treatments, organic cotton thread and coconut buttons. Produced in Portugal using solar powered manufacturing, the collection celebrates biodiversity, animal welfare and the extraordinary value of local wool traditions that deserve to be preserved.
TINTOREMUS
Tintoremus offers one of the strongest examples of regenerative thinking at MOMAD. Pairing an organic cotton shirt with jeans made from regenerative cotton, every piece is dyed with natural indigo cultivated in Extremadura, where the company controls the entire process from growing Persicaria tinctoria to extracting the pigment. The result is a supply chain rooted in transparency and measurable environmental performance, achieving substantial reductions in water use, carbon emissions and resource consumption compared with conventional denim production. On stage, Tintoremus presented an organic cotton T-shirt, revitalised with natural dyes in Tintoremus’ RE-Dye facilities, giving the garment a second life through a completely bespoke colour. Regenerative cotton jeans crafted from denim woven in Spain using the innovative Dry Indigo process, developed in collaboration with textile partner Tejidos Royo. The look is completed with a jacket featuring customised details, also crafted from organic cotton.
The garments are responsibly manufactured in Portugal and Tunisia, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to nearshoring production within Europe.
The Conscious Boutique presents buyers and visitors with a curated gallery of garments selected for their use of lower impact materials, more responsible production processes, circular innovation, exceptional craftsmanship, supply chain traceability and positive social impact.

MONTOTO
Family owned since 1956, Montoto demonstrates that local manufacturing remains one of fashion’s most valuable assets. Produced in Galicia, the collection combines 100% linen with certified organic cotton while the knitwear is developed entirely in the company’s own facilities using GOTS certified yarns. It is a compelling example of how craftsmanship, proximity and quality continue to define modern luxury.
VALGUT & BAG
Rather than chasing endless collections, Valgut & Bag embraces the philosophy of slow luxury. Every handbag and leather garment is handcrafted in Spain using premium surplus leather sourced from luxury manufacturers, transforming existing materials into limited edition pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, longevity and exclusivity over excess.
ELEMENTE CLEMENTE
Few fabrics embody timeless elegance quite like linen, and Elemente Clemente proves that innovation often begins with returning to nature. Its monochromatic look is crafted entirely from European Flax™ linen, grown and processed using the traditional field retting method, preserving one of Europe’s oldest textile traditions. What makes the collection particularly compelling is the combination of heritage and technology. Mineral and plant based pigments, digital printing and low impact finishing powered by oxygen and solar energy come together to create garments that dramatically reduce water consumption, particularly in the brand’s denim effect print, which requires only around 50 litres of water compared with the thousands typically used in conventional denim production.
FULMARIX
Some fabrics tell the story of a place. Fulmarix reintroduces the traditional Şile cloth, a light, breathable cotton textile originating from Turkey’s Black Sea coast. Produced using time honoured methods that preserve generations of local craftsmanship, the collection combines understated elegance with exceptional comfort, demonstrating that preserving textile heritage can be just as relevant as developing new materials.

SURKANA
Soft silhouettes meet measurable impact in Surkana’s fluid dress, crafted from LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose. Produced from certified wood pulp and manufactured with significantly lower water consumption and carbon emissions than conventional viscose, the fabric offers a more responsible alternative without compromising drape or comfort. It is a reminder that effortless everyday dressing can also be fully traceable from forest to finished garment.
CMS LOVE
Designed and manufactured entirely in Córdoba, CMS Love shows that local production is about much more than geography. Operating with 100% renewable energy, the brand keeps its supply chain close to home while reducing transport and maintaining full control over production. Its flowing viscose pieces embody a quiet, contemporary elegance grounded in responsible manufacturing.
PILAR DEL CAMPO
Every jacket by Pilar del Campo is a one of a kind creation. Handmade in Madrid using sheepskin and Mongolian goat hair sourced as by products of the food industry, each piece reflects countless hours of artisanal work. It is fashion conceived as collectible craftsmanship, where durability and individuality take precedence over mass production.
WOUF
Barcelona based WOUF has mastered the balance between practicality and environmental responsibility. Crafted from recycled fabrics and organic cotton certified to GRS and GOTS standards, its accessories are completed with OEKO TEX® certified inks, FSC certified paper labels and protective bags made entirely from recycled plastic. Every detail reflects a holistic approach to responsible design.
SORUKA
Soruka transforms leather waste into colourful accessories with a story to tell. Handmade in India from reclaimed leather offcuts, each bag is unique, extending the life of valuable materials that would otherwise become waste. Through circular design and fair trade production, the brand proves that creativity can be one of the most powerful tools for reducing fashion’s environmental footprint.
RIA MENORCA
Innovation sometimes hides beneath our feet. RIA Menorca incorporates recycled tyre rubber into the sole of its footwear, giving a second life to one of the world’s most challenging waste streams. Entirely manufactured in Spain and certified by SIGNUS, the collection combines Mediterranean craftsmanship with practical circular solutions that reduce dependence on virgin raw materials.
FABIOLAS
Rooted in La Rioja, Fabiolas continues Spain’s long tradition of espadrille making while embracing natural materials and local manufacturing. Natural rubber, jute, cork and Better Cotton sourced canvas come together in footwear produced entirely within the same region, demonstrating that proximity remains one of the most effective ways to reduce environmental impact while preserving traditional shoemaking.
